I was planning to do yard work today, but when I got up this morning it was misting, and a tad chilly. So, I decided to jump into the spec writing that I need to get done for CERRA.

Everyone knows I watch American Idol, but I tend to also watch a good bit of all types of Law & Order (including Trial By Jury, SVU, and CI), and other shows such as ER, 24, Iron Chef America, and Good Eats

Cinnamon Toast, Justin burnt it a little.

Favorite Cuisine?
Depends on mood, but I like Italian, and Japanese a good bit.

What foods do you dislike?
Tomato (raw); Pig parts other than chops, tenderloins, bacon and other generally accepted sections; Sushi; Spinach (although I am getting there); that's about it though.

What is your favorite flavor?
Really good prime rib. (although I might just be saying that cause I am craving a good steak)

Not really listing to any CD in particular, never do really, but I would not mind sticking in Keith Urban's new CD Be Here, or his Golden Road CD. Any of Edwin's CDs are also OK.

2003 VW Passat GLX Sedan - Fresco Green (kind of like this)

Cracker Barrel's Grilled Chicken sandwich on gilled sourdough bread.

In high school and early college would have said Lerner without a doubt, but now I generally buy from department stores like JCPenny, Belk, and Dillards

Where would you retire to?
Near by kids will probably end up being the answer, but I hope that it is on a semi-rural piece of property near a beach, but also close to the mountains. Vaguely sounds like SC - bummer. Another idea is to just have a A Class motorhome and travel all the time.

Um - the one where I almost accidentally stripped at my surprise party. Thanks Amy Gore. It was my 18th.

"Charles Martha"

So, as I have said a million times - we all know I have weird dreams. Well, when we were in the mountains I had a crazy one...

The basic gist is that I had a baby, and apparently I had to be really kocked out for the delivery or there were some complications or something because I was "away" for a few days after the baby was born. It was a little girl. While gone, Justin named her. The catch is that he named her "Charles Martha" why - I have NO clue. I kept trying to convince him to at least change it to "Charlie" because you could more easily get away with calling a girl 'Charlie' as opposed to 'Charles.' The only relation to those names is that Pop-Pop (grandfather from my Dad's side) was named Charles, and Justin has a great aunt named Martha. I really was kind of pissed because we had talked about names and stuff.

Great Weekend

Wow - Justin and I really did have a great weekend up in the mountains. I highly recommend that you check his site for the pics. He did leave out details about a few things, but no time to talk about that right now.

Think I am going to make a few short posts here real quick, just to talk about a few things. And in case I did not tell Justin enough on Sunday - Happy Anniversary, I love you!

General
Other than work being crazy, I have been doing pretty well. Justin and I are heading off to the mountains for the weekend to celebrate our 1 yr anniversary. Can't believe we have been married that long. We will be staying in the Comfort Inn Apple Barn. From what Ben & Lori have said - this place is heaven on earth. We are going to some spa thing on Friday morning - massages will be great! Our plan is to try to go eat at English Mountain Trout Farm while there. They were suppose to finish the pond this week, so hopefully they did. I hope we can go horseback riding while there too. :)

American Idol
So, I don't know what is up with random people making American Idol comments on my site. I am giving up the "predictions" thing. It is too time sensative, and my schedule is just not as flexible as I would like it to be.

So - I am kinda pissed that Mario dropped out, but am really glad that Nikko is back. If I had it my way, Mario & Nikko would be in the top 12, and either Scott or Constantine would be gone. Everyone knows how I feel about Mikalah. I agree that she is an OK singer and she is peppy, but Amanda was more well suited for the competition I think.

Honestly - after watching last night, I think half of them should leave. I stand behind the fact that the guys are MUCH better than the girls, and I don't know if putting the guys with the girls to preform made them suck or what, but I did not enjoy many of them last night. Nadia was good, I liked Vonzell, Constantine was even decent. I think Scott Savol had the best vocals last night. Who knows who will get voted off. I think Lindsey is at risk. I also think that the "Mario" vote is most likely to transfer to Anthony.

I understand that the Mikalah statements are contradictory, but someone obviously told her to shut the hell up, and that is why she was good this week, but I dont think she can keep that up.

On another note - I am sick. Feeling like major poop. Last night my head hurt so bad I could not even cry. The pain can not be explained. I am in awe of it. Really dont even know what to type about it. I just hope that I dont go through it again tonight. I stayed at home today, and based on how I feel might want to do the same tomorrow, but I have a really important meeting I need to go to at 2:00. I have been taking benadryl cold and sinus and then Jusitn got me some nite time something at the store.

Head hurts though, tired of typing. Going to go lay down and then watch Idol before going to sleep. Lata---
