Tasty Sipping

Yum. I have had a very pleasant few days. After getting past the water episode of Friday (which was determined to be a freezing issue and has most likely been remedied completely) I had what proved to be an excellent Friday, lovely Saturday, and productive Sunday.

Got to see Iain and Jennifer for dinner in Florence after getting my hair cut on Friday evening. We ate at Carolina Wings, and I was brave and ordered a burger. Very glad I did because it was super tasty. Not sure if it was because the burger was that good or because I was wanting a burger that bad. It could have been a combination of the two. Bottom line was that I was very satisfied, and the company was quite fine.

Saturday Grandma had a handbell workshop. The group did a concert at 3:30 so I went with Mom before heading back to Columbia. It was a really nice performance. I had never heard that many bells all at once. Quite nice. Ended up having dinner that night at Uno's (Chicken Lettuce Wraps - I have never actually had pizza there. hmmm.) I ate with Eric, John, and Terrence. Afterwards I saw the Mythbusters sinking car episode and a episode of Futureweapons - very neat show. I had never watched it before. Really neat stuff.

Today Mom & Dad came up to take care of a few things. We (or in most cases Dad) moved the dining room light, fixed the disposal, better insulated the well pump, hung some shelves, moved some pictures, patches some dings in drywall, determined that the B&W video feed from the playstation was because the Component 1 and Component 2 slots on the tv required more than just a "yellow" RCA, got the tractor running (thought battery was dead, but really it was just not fully in neutral), and moved dirty. We had Mr. Bunky's for lunch. The collard greens there are so good. When I was outside on the tractor I was wearing a sweatshirt, jeans, and flip-flops... it is crazy windy today and rather cold. So, that brings me to my tasty sipping!

Hot Chocolate
It was mucho good. I needed to thaw out after my work outside.

Covey Run - 2005 Late Harvest Riesling from Columbia Valley
I opened this bottle the other day, but am finishing it tonight. Very good. Very, very good.

About to do some stuff for work. After my crazy Friday I got a little behind on a few things. So, Farewell...
