Good Weekend

Saturday rained all day, but it was cool (in terms of temperature) and with the roof on the house we are able to work and stay mostly dry - which is nice. We got the last of the beams and posts set for the loft, the loft window installed and close to half of the flooring done in the loft.

On Sunday we took the dogs out to the land. Squig immediately pulled his collar off and bolted. Justin quickly responded, "Well, at least he does not have his tags on. That way if someone finds him they can't fine us." I thought that was a good point. Five minutes later the dog walks up like everything is cool. I put his collar back on him and off he went, but he always came back after a few minutes. So, I guess that is good. While there Justin and I picked up trash around the house, he mowed & then I swept up inside.

Things are looking good. I am really pleased.

Sunday morning was beautiful by the way - did you get a chance to enjoy the clear blue sky & mid seventies temps?

Funny story:
An un-named friend had a weird rattling in his/her car. After much frustration, on the way to the store one evening he/she frantically searched the entire car (while driving) in order to track down the culprit. What was it? A beer in the glovebox. Unopened. Go figure.
