I understand that the Mikalah statements are contradictory, but someone obviously told her to shut the hell up, and that is why she was good this week, but I dont think she can keep that up.
Predictions are hard though, because the talent levels are very similar.
On another note - I am sick. Feeling like major poop. Last night my head hurt so bad I could not even cry. The pain can not be explained. I am in awe of it. Really dont even know what to type about it. I just hope that I dont go through it again tonight. I stayed at home today, and based on how I feel might want to do the same tomorrow, but I have a really important meeting I need to go to at 2:00. I have been taking benadryl cold and sinus and then Jusitn got me some nite time something at the store.
Head hurts though, tired of typing. Going to go lay down and then watch Idol before going to sleep. Lata---

I think Mikalah Gordon is the most original performer, and the best of the girls!
She has a very strong father figure. And although he supports her humor, he knows she sometimes says things out of context because of nerves. However, she is only 17, and is probably growing as a person in this competition.
I believe she has the right to be a free spirit, and she has the "pipes" to back it up.
Remember, we are talking about someone who not only can win this thing, but has a unique enough sound to sell records. And I believe that is what the producers are looking for.
Look at the past winners track record. Kelly Clarkson sold well on her first release, but she was the first American Idol. Notice how much she has been re-produced and re-worked in her appearance. The second release is nothing compared to the first.
Ruben has yet to rise at the level that Luther did 20 years ago. But with the money invested in him at this point, they are getting him to lose weight and will probably rework his career as well.
Clay is the most successful, and most versatile. And he was the runner up in season 2.
Fantasia needs a lift. Her debut release did not garner the support from the fanbase that we assume was there to vote her in.
The bottom line? Mikalah Gordon has a sound people can remember. And it grows on me every time I hear it. Can she gain the national attention I feel she deserves? Well, great voice mixed with great personality go hand in hand. She has both, and I feel she will only get better! Let's hope Amereica agrees!
i can't believe everyone is so against scott savol. he is one of the better singers in the competition. granted that his song selection has been a little bit than perfect. but i do think he better than alot on the show. but then again that is what opinions are for.
mikalah is cute, sponky, and maybe a little funny. but she is not the next american idol, the next top 8, nor the next top 3... if she is we now know that the show is fixed!! go Scott Savol.
