Sunday, Yesterday & Today...
I forgot to mention Sunday in the last post... Mom & Dad came up to help us take care of a few things around the house. It was nice to see them. I fixed a new recipie that was pretty good - a beef barbecue type thing. Mom and I went to Blacklion, we spent 3 hours there I think. She picked up a present for a lady that had a baby and I got something for Grandma for her birthday next weekend.
Yesterday was a pretty good day at work - for that matter so was Monday (except Hoke was not there - he was sick, but is doing better). I had the Moore School meeting, which went fine. Then, Justin and I had a meeting with Chad Dowdy, a guy I know from my participation in SIFE at USC. He works for Northwestern Mutual. We are just exploring options for more financial stability. I will let you know if I give him my recommendation in a few weeks after everything pans out. We skipped the Y that afternoon to do yard work at the house. It looks MUCH better, and definitely served as a workout. I fixed Mom's stuffed cabbage caserole for dinner, and Justin ate it. I was quite happy! :) It was not quite as good as what Mom makes, but it was not bad.
Today was pretty good too. I did some work on Moore School stuff - as always, and then I had a meeting with Gail Shurling at CMAT about business for the upcoming year. I think she has some opportunities for us, which is good. On the way back I stopped off at Bank of America to find out about Home Equity Loan/Line of Credit options. Part of our whole "financial stability" plan. It looks promising - I just need to look into finding a cheap attorney for closing. (it is the only part BOA does not pay. Grace Cunningham (Justin's fried from Walterboro - and my new friend [she is a girl! :) --- u know what i mean...]) came over for dinner. Ben and Amelia also came over. Ben & Justin were drafting for one of the many Fantasy Football leagues in operation this year, Amelia worked on a test, and Grace & I took Gohan on a walk and watched TV in the den, then she chatted with me while I put up laundry.
Tomorrow should be good too - no meetings - which is nice! :) My fantasy league's draft is tomorrow - SWEET!! I am excited about that one! :) Football is close. I am sad to say the Pack lost on Monday to the Seahawks 21-3. :( Favre only played 2 drives though, then Tim Couch sucked it up, and Doug Peterson finished it out. A decent watch though. It was nice to see the cheese on the field!
Lata! Gobble Gobble!!

Can you hear the roar, my dear daughter-in-law? It is my thunderous applause! Considering the fact the the only things green I EVER got Justin to eat was cukes and green jello...you are now recieving a standing ovation. I was surprised at the sweet peas and snow peas, but cabbage...Leslie, you amaze me! Keep up the good work!
