A Let Down
Well, Charley was a let down. I dont think it has even rained a 1/4 of an inch here in Columbia. I am glad that my parents are fairing pretty well though. Luckily Grandma doesn't own that Condo at The Summer Retreat because God knows that that place is probably getting pretty torn up right now. Note the map - Cherry Grove is the star - the condo was in Cherry Grove...
Mom and Dad were suppose to come for a visit today to help us do a few things, but they ended up putting it off because we were uncertain about the weather. Turns out they probably could have come, but they are just going to head this way tomorrow! :)

Trust me, Cherry Grove did get destroyed. Here in Myrtle Beach, we got slammed with some 80 mph winds and extensive, flooding rains. I had to work at the TV station from midnight to 3 pm....straight through. Not much fun. Keeps you busy, that's for sure. We're still cleaning up. You guys are lucky you didn't get very much from it.
